Benefits of a Day Care Centre
Living with a person that has dementia can be a challenge at times. A nearby family member or friend might not always be able to help you. That is why we have created a specialized Dementia Day Care centre for your loved one. For many families, the Dementia Day Care is a way to give caregivers a break while helping their loved ones stay in their homes and keep some of their independence for as long as possible.
For people with Alzheimer’s and dementia, a Dementia Day Care facility provides a chance to be social and to participate in staffed sensory stimulation activities from gardening to baking, from concerts to exercises.
Our Day Care Service
Our day care service includes the following:
- Flexible Caring Hours
- Trained Jura Care Caretakers
- Nutritional Meals & Snacks
- Social activities & programs, like crafts, music, movies, gardening, walking, concerts, exercises, and so much more!
- Personal support and help with personal care like bathing, eating, dressing, and grooming
- Medical services from health care professionals, including registered nurses
- Behaviour management such as wandering, incontinence and hallucinations
The Jura Care Dementia Day Care Centre offers benefits to both caregivers and people with dementia.
